The hamam: one ritual, in a set order

In a Turkish bath you do not pick treatments from a list. The ritual has its own order — the heat, the kese, the foam — and the attendant takes you through it. That is the appeal: nothing to decide, everything done for you.

The spa: a menu you choose from

A spa usually works the other way round: you choose one or more treatments, often a massage of a set length, and book each one. What is on the menu, how long each treatment lasts and what it costs vary from spa to spa.

Your Belek resort's own spa

Many Belek resorts have a spa of their own, and some have a hamam as part of it. What they offer, and at what price, is set by each hotel — ask at your hotel's spa desk. The practical difference is simple: the hotel spa is where you already are, while the Basic Hamam takes you out to a hamam, with the transfer there and back included.
